Purpose

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform users of the Site of the personal data we collect, how that data is used, who has access to it, your rights as a user, and our cookie practices. This Privacy Policy is governed by Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applies in addition to our Terms & Conditions.

By using our Site and submitting information through our forms, you consent to the collection, use, and retention of your data as described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal Data We Collect

We only collect data needed to respond to your enquiry and provide our services. When you complete a quote request, corporate-account application, partner application, or contact form, we may collect:

  • First and last name;
  • Email address;
  • Phone number;
  • Company name and role (for corporate and partner enquiries);
  • Trip details you provide — pickup and drop-off locations, dates and times, passenger and luggage counts, vehicle and service preferences, and any notes you add.

This data is collected directly from you through web forms on the Site. We do not purchase personal data or collect it from third-party sources.

How We Use Personal Data

We use the data you provide to respond to your enquiry, prepare and confirm a quote, arrange and deliver your transportation, communicate with you about your booking, and maintain our business records. We will not use your data for purposes beyond those described here without telling you first.

Member Accounts

You may optionally create a member account. We use passwordless sign-in: a one-time, time-limited link is emailed to you, so we never collect or store account passwords. Within your account we store the contact details you provide (name, phone number, and company), and any home or office addresses you choose to save, so that we can pre-fill quote requests for you. Your upcoming and past trips are displayed in your account by retrieving them in real time from our CRM — we do not store your trip history on this Site. You can edit this information at any time from your account, or ask us to delete your account and its associated data by contacting us using the details below.

How We Store and Process Your Data

Our Site is built with Next.js and hosted on Vercel. Information you submit through our forms may be processed and stored using the following service providers, each acting on our behalf:

  • Vercel — website hosting and form-delivery infrastructure;
  • Resend — delivery of transactional and notification emails;
  • Salesmate — our customer-relationship-management (CRM) system, where enquiries and bookings are recorded;
  • Google (Google Sheets and Google Analytics) — lead records and website analytics.
  • Neon (serverless PostgreSQL, hosted on Vercel infrastructure) — secure storage of member-account profiles and saved addresses.

These providers may store data on servers located in Canada, the United States, or elsewhere, and are bound to protect it. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Whom We Share Personal Data With

We may disclose your data to members of our organization and to the dispatch and chauffeur personnel who need it to fulfil your booking. We do not sell or rent your personal data. We will not share it with other third parties except where required by law, in connection with a legal proceeding, to establish or protect our legal rights, or to a buyer or successor in the event of a sale or reorganization of our business.

SMS Communications

Canadian Limos Inc. respects your privacy. By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you consent to the following:

  • Information usage: your phone number and any data collected during the SMS consent process will only be used to send you SMS updates and service-related communications from Canadian Limos Inc.;
  • No third-party sharing: we do not share, sell, or distribute your phone number or consent information to third parties;
  • Message types: booking confirmations, trip updates, and other service-related messages.

Messaging frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP”; for assistance, reply “HELP” or contact us at info@ca.limo. You may revoke SMS consent at any time by replying “STOP”.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device that helps a website understand how it is being used. We use cookies and similar technologies for website analytics through Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect your experience of the Site.

Accessing, Modifying, or Deleting Your Data
